Thinning : MIROSTAIN 2616 is supplied ready for use (RFU). However to achieve lighter tones reduce with MIROSOL 1222 (Fast), MIROSOL 1231 (Medium), 1242 (Slow) thinners or 1218, 1228, 1233 (Ultra Slow) thinners. MIROSTAIN 2616 must be unreduced when adding to MIROCAT PC, MIROBILD AC or MIROTHANE PU.
Toning : required, to provide extra depth of colour, add up to 10% by volume of unreduced MIROSTAIN 2616 to MIROCAT PC or MIROBILD AC coatings. Apply in light even coats over sealed timber to obtain depth of colour.

 

Pad or Rag - Use a clean lint free cloth, apply in even strokes.
Suction Gun - Use 1.5mm (59 thou) orifice with 280kpa (35 psi). It is important not to apply MIROSTAIN above this pressure to avoid dark or blotchy discolouration.
Pressure Pot - Use 1mm orifice with pressure pot air-cap. Gun pressure 280kpa (35 psi) and a pot pressure of 16kpa (2 psi) max.
